Opportunities in Project Management!

The other day a friend asked if i think that there will be more opportunities in Project Management in the future or was the profession fashionable for the moment?

I answered and told him that as far as countries/organizations always carry out projects to grow and susitain their businesses then managing these projects have come to stay.

On researching online i found out that according to a report from Anderson Economic Group, there will be 1.2 million yearly job openings in project-oriented occupations, yet the current lack of academic programs in project management creates a gap within the industry. This gap has presents opportunities in Project Management.
