Job Description

Reports To: In this capacity, you will report to the Head of Program Management
Job Summary: Serves as a liaison between the business community and SW Global in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of an IT organization's systems and capabilities. Analyzes business unit(s) operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Enhances SW Global’s product portfolio by driving the evolution of customer-oriented, cost effective, and integrated business solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Consults  with users to define business processes and requirements
• Draft technical documentations to support the development of integrated business solutions
• Perform complex conceptual analysis
• Collaborate with business and technology partners to define deliverables and develop solutions that are usable across an organization

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience writing system (business) requirements documentation, functional requirements, technical specification, gathering and analyzing data
• 1+ year project management experience
• 2+ year professional experience supporting technology systems and applications
• 2+ year writing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios/conditions, identifying data needs for UAT
• 2+ year Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Visio experience
• Post Secondary School Graduate + 5 years experience OR Bachelor's Degree
• Certification in Business Analysis preferably from an accredited institution

Competencies:

• Ability to document and communicate user needs in a professional and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently in a virtual team environment
• Ability to provide explanations and interpretations to queries and issues raised by technical team and end users
• Ability to analyze business and statistical information and determine best ways to automate processes and functions

Candidates with CVs that demonstrate the following will only be considered for interviews

• 2-5 progressive work experience as a Business Analyst in Information Technology setting
• Certification in Business Analysis from a recognized institution e.g. International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA) will be highly considered
• Experience working with software developers and gathering business requirements from customers
